Ok after a bit of a hiatus I'll be back on the forums even though the troll is now minus an engine.
Spun the keyway at Ayers Rock so the ol 2.8 is officially dead.

New engine is coming........ RB25 someone needs to keep the servos in buisiness haha
(As long as I can figure out what goes where and what plugs into what)

Looking forward to catching up again soon.

The old girl died the day after this pic.

No good when your miles from nowhere , if you're doing the job yourself just curious as to why you didn't go 4.2 .

I was wondering where you disappeared to Col, disaster spot for troubles like that mate!!!!Yeh we were having an awesome trip 2 weeks into 6 , 90% dirt a few minor issues just lucky we had total care and it happened on the black stuff and in mobile service (just).

Heading back next year gonna include the Kimberly also, maybe even the simmo.

I've done a Mitsubishi station wagon motor swap without much of an idea as to what I was doing , I was amazed when the new/old motor started but ran rough as buggery , got a mobile mechanic to check it out and it was just plug leads going to wrong plugs .
