Can you fit a winch on a patrol Gu none compatible bull bar !,

Hi guys me again... Wanted to put a winch on car but my ARB bull bar is not a winch one... Pain. Has anyone bolted it to chassis and made a cradle. .? Thanks Dave

I'm sure you can buy winch cradles that bolt onto the chassis , plenty Ali bullbars with winches , we fitted a winch to a Maverick with an alloy bar , son bought the winch and cradle from the old super centre a few years ago now but I'm sure cradles are still available .
You will have to do some surgery to the bar though .

As above you can buy the cradles and it will require an opening to be cut into your bar for the rope to run through.
