Hi all Patrolers, I'm a 17 y/o 93 GQ Patrol owner, I've loved GQ's for about 3-4 years, so I saw fit to buy one for my first car. She's a 1993 Ti GQ, built in Noveber of 1992. First sold in July of 93. TB42E Auto (yes I know what everyone will say, "why didn't I go manual", I have no access to a manual atm, and no one to teach me, so I'm happy with my auto) Red and Beige 2-tone. I am the 3rd owner, bought her 100% stock with 271,000 K's. Drives fantastic for it's age and I'm as happy as Larry when I get in and drive. I have lots of plans and hope to share as many as I can with you all and I hope you'll be able to help me with all my questions.
Cheers everyone, and I hope to get to know you all soon.

welcome, you will find plenty of help here, all you have to do is ask. Nobody can read your mind, and there is no such thing as a dumb question, we all start somewhere. BTW, there is nothing wrong with an auto, both have their devotees. Enjoy your ride :)

Welcome to the forum mate , was a manual man until I got the 94 GQ and I'm now converted , off road they are so much easier to drive the hard stuff and you won't be snapping CV shafts .
Only down side is downhill engine braking but if you search this forum you will find a mod for "torque converter lockup kit" which will then give you the best of both .
