1996 gq patrol wagon lift [HELP]

Hi guys i have a 1996 GQ Patrol wagon and i am wanting to put a 2" lift in, i personally dont know a lot about suspension and what not but i have friends who have installed them before and can help me install mine. My question to you's guys is what exactly do i need to buy in order to do the lift and whats a good trusty brand to go with, i hit a few ruts from time to time but never doing anything too extreme. thanks
