Hi guys
I need some feed back from the guru's in the forum
my 3.0 crd is slow starting ,It cranks over ok but is slow to fire and on cold mornings takes a long time to fire.
it is still under warranty until october and when I put it in for its 70k service the other day I told them of this issue.
they serviced it with oil and fuel filter and now its harder to start.
they informed me the nissan ace was on holidays until next monday and they booked it in for him to look at.
but what are your thoughts on it and has anybody else had this problem.
the only thing I have done to the vehicle is put a 3inch exhaust on it and its a 2014 model
cheers
Ralph

Try this on cold mornings,
turn ignition on wait for glow plug light to go out then turn off, repeat 3 times then start without touching throttle.
Could be a glow plug or 2 not working.

Seems like a glow plug issue to me as well.

Ralph,

As far as I am aware, there are three things to check, starting from most likely....

1/ Glowplugs
2/ Fuel Pressure Relief Valve on the Fuel Rail ( Nissan won't sell the valve separately, and will install a whole new rail .... the valve can be bought on its own aftermarket )
3/ Leaking Injector/s

thanks for the reply fellas
i put it into nasal and here is there version
battery needed replacing as it was going down they said
then they changed the fuel rail sensor and no difference
they then checked the glow plugs
their result changed the glow plug relay and told fixed
i have left it out and will see what it does in the morning
cheers
