You'll need to take it to a specialist mate - not generally something that can be done without a dyno for speed measurement etc.

ok cheers i knoiw the diff gears can be changed to correct it but that gets into big dollars. so it needs to go to a dyno specialist to change it or to nissan?

Simply change out the speedo drive cog (unless you are already at the highest/lowest teeth count available)... there was a list of the Nissan part numbers floating around somewhere

Here's a list of company's that recalibrate speedometer's. http://www.autosource.com.au/gauges-instruments.php
There's 2 in W.A. that you may be near. I used the one at the top of the list in revesby NSW as I had to get my speedo checked for engineers. It cost me $40 for them to check the speedo & took about 30 min. It's a simple job to change the speedo pinion, took me about 30 min. Using the chart you should be able to get your speedo with in legal requirements. You'll have to find out what % you can be out in W.A. but I'm fairly confident you'll get it within spec. They should also be able to install a speedo correction box but it will be around the $2-$300 mark from memory. That's why I went with the $74 option & changing the pinon my self.
Good luck
Cheers Jono.
