I'm a kiwi with a 1991 safari GQ SWB. I've owned it for around 10 years, and it has 180,000km on the clock.
We just love this little truck. It pulls our caravan with no fuss at all, and when we get there it will go up the worst tracks and river beds to our best trout fishing spots.
The only mods are a 30mm body lift, and a rear diff lock.
We've had zero serious trouble, have only recently had to replace the alternator, and starter motor.
Looking forward to being on the forum
