Hi, does anyone know at which mileage should de auto transmission maintenance of patrol should be done? The dealer here en Dentrla america syas the factory does not specify when should it be done...

well I'm not sure about a GU (Y61) patrol but on a GQ the manual says to change the transmission fluid every 40,000 Km or 2 years (which ever comes first)..................... It's late over here and most are in bed or going to bed, but I'm sure someone will be able to help you properly once they're up.

It's not unusual these days for car manufacturers to not specify an auto trans service interval leaving them to be serviced on an 'as needed' basis.
Replacing the oil and filter every 40,000 to 50,000 is a good idea to extend transmission life.

I do the auto transmission every 20000 along with the transfer case and diffs - 20 year old truck going strong with nearly 300K on the clock, so I figure it's worth every penny in oils to save potentially thousands on a new transmission etc. Definitely overkill, but I love Tank, and let's face it ... it's not like I spend money anywhere else on him!!!! LOL!!!
