Hi everyone,
Looking to get my first mod for my patrol which is a bull bar. Main choice are TJM and ARB premium bars. I really like the tjm t13 outback bar due to the angled middle bars and the recessed fog lights design, plus they got a sale on atm and you get a free underbody protection panel.
Are there any quality bull bars/brands i should be considering?
Or has anyone got any photos of tjm outback bar on a gu patrol, dont think i have ever seen one even on the road. Not very common at all.
Cheers

I run mostly TJM gear and may be able to help you out if you decide to go that way.
Are you close to TJM hornsby ????
I also run TJM Outback side steps

I bought a used ARB bullbar off a guy on Gumtree, was in paint was pretty bad with a fair bit of rust. Got it sand blasted and repainted for a few hundred.
Ended up with an expensive bullbar for around half the price, would definitely recommend going down that path if the opportunity is there.
ARB were pretty good too, supplied me with the installation manual despite the fact I hadn't bought it from them.

I dont think you can go wrong either way. I bought my patrol ex qld railways in 2003. It came with the tjm. the welds are excellent, saved me a heap of times. needs a coat of paint now but no rust. from what ive seen about arb - just as good. just a matter of personal choice and the deal I reckon

I changed the front park/indicators for LED ones.
love the instant effect of LED plus the low power draw
I fitted 50 ohm resistors to all 4 corners as I run LED
globes as well

I've got an ARB which has survived 10 to 12 roo hits without a drama
