hi ,

good to see this forum...

i have a patrol y61 1998 gas "not diesel " but i don't know the engine model

and how to know ..

the second all of you know this model is not fast in the road .. and i want to boost my car ?

any idea's?

If it's a duel fuel, it would be a tb45 petrol on gas. More power, turbo or something different, side mount supercharger...

It will say on the VIN plate in thr engine bay...... But as Jay see has already said..... Sounds like a TB45

Dont think they would have dual fuel Patrols with petrol about 15c a litre,
in that area, but they take well to turbo charging

I think by gas, you mean petrol. Only the the americans could call petrol (a liquid) "gas".
In australia we use "gas" to mean LPG or CNG.
Quite funny to see an americans out here trying to fill their petrol vehicles at the "gas" pump.
