I am in need of some help (aren't we all) i have had an error come up with the tps or switch
so i have replaced with a second hand one and now the td28 runs @1100rpm instead of the 750 ish
any ideas on what need to be done
Ps its the minister for war and finance shopping trolley and i would like to avoid further conflict haha

Usually its a matter of disconnecting the battery for half hour or so. Whether it works or not? Are you sure the second hand tps is the correct one? Or even working as it should?

the second hand unit came out of a crashed rd28, so one would assume its the same? the car drives normally if not a little better aircon running it runs about 1000 aircon off 1200
the only thing changed is the tps
Its funny how different my two trolls are much rather play with the gq

TPS is the same from rd28 through to 3L di
If you have a good scan tool you can read the PID's and actually see what TPS is reading, and as stated there is no tps reset through the ecu battery disconnect is only option.
If you see the TPS read percentage is high there is an adjustment on the actual sensor :)
