[B]Hey all, new here!
I was just wondering what tyre would be better on my gu patrol;
32x10.5x16 Simex Extreme Trekker 2
or
33x11.5x16 Simex Jungle Trekker 2
Stuck on this as simex don't have a 33x12.5 ET2, the closest to what i want is the 32x10.5 in the ET2 Range. Then i found the 33x11.5 JT2 which is closer to the 33x12.5 that i wanted. So my question is, which would i be better off with?
These will only be used 4wding so will only see road to and from wherever i'm 4wding, not fussed about road use, only care about which would be better out on the tracks.
I think Majority of my 4wd will be mud.
Thankyou,
Heardy!

Hey Hearsy welcome to the forum. Where abouts are you and where is your stomping ground, this will go a long way to answering the question.

I have had both the JTs and the ETs, 3 sets of the ETs.

The sizes you are looking at are interesting. He JT 33x11.5x16 is actually a 34 and the 11.5 has a larger rolling diameter than the 33x10.5. It's an anomaly in the Simex, not sure why but it is what it is. A 32x10.5 ET will be great of a Zook or a BT50 maybe, not sure about running them on a Patrol. Again, it really comes down to where your going to use them.

Both are great tyres, my money would go in the ET2s in a 35x11.5 r16 on a patrol but that's just me in the Otways. Thick deep sticky mud with plenty of guys running 37s which really do make the 32 a pointless investment.

If I had to chose between only those two tyres in those sizes the JTs would win.
