Hey everyone, been browsing 'tis forum for only a short time and very useful info. I've just recently got my first Patrol in prep for some touring.

Basically stock with bull bar and had it for 3 weeks, 180000k

Found the driving OK but A LOT different to my 2014 VF W375 Clubsport as far as power and brakes go.

Went out last night and it just lacked power going up a hill. Didn't think anything of it, just gutless.

Read up on the MAF cleaning this morning and gave it a clean and BOOM! Heaps more power!

These forums are a great resource so thanks everyone who has posted great info for us novices.

Cheers

Linz

Welcome to the forum , cleaning the maf sensor is a trap for new players , I cleaned ours with "Innox" and $250 later I realised what a dipshit I had been .

G'day Coolman.
Reckon you're onto something there mate.
Follow the full maintenance programme and all is well. Generally, the standard maintenance charts say it all but there are some little bits which this site details which make a fair bit of difference.
Reckon you'll love the wagon.
Stay in touch, look and learn,
regards,
Col.
