Hi everyone this is my first time post looks like a lot of knowledge here hope I have this in the right spot.
I have a 1995 TB42e manual that seems underpowered and doesn't like starting cold or in general for that matter. Start the engine and it will idle very rough and very low like 4-500rpm give it a stab on the throttle straight away idles down to 750 odd idles fine until you turn the A/C on then it idles real low again close to stalling until I give it a stab on the throttle. pickup seems real sluggish with the A/C on or off (In comparison to an identical gq).
It had gas on it but I have pulled it all off adjusted the timing with a timing light to 10 degrees. I have a ecu talk lead and have it up and running on my laptop but I don't know what I'm looking at or understand what all the guages are telling me (ie 02sensor jumps about a fair bit). Also no fault codes? Hope I have explained this well and somone can help identify my drama thanks a lot

did you unplug the aac valve before you set the timing? if not your timing will be retarded about 5deg from where it should be.

post a screen shot of your ecu talk reading and ill see if anything looks out of place

Hello and welcome to the forum dont forget to pop over to the intros please
no harm done just some thing the forum asks of us all,

Hopefully your Ecu-talk will give you the answer you seek
Check all the vacuum hoses they may be brittle or just unplugged

aac is the idle control valve/solenoid at the back of the manifold.
