Fuel filter water sensor 2005 ST 4.2 UTE

Would be most grateful for any assistance regarding location of the other half of the plug for the water sensor connector. The sensor connector coming from the bottom of the fuel filter has a flying lead 200mm long. Problem is there appears to be no connector for it!

If anyone has a similar model ute, with a connected water sensor could they please let me know where the other half of the connector is located and where does it go to?

Hi All,

Problem solved. Have finally found other end of connector.

I only managed to find it after feeling around as it was on a short lead below the fuse box and not visible. It has obviously been disconnected for some time judging by the dirt on connector so was not reconnected by whoever serviced it before, probably because they were not able to find it either!

I would suggest anyone not sure if theirs is connected to check, as you will not have any indicator for water if not connected.
