I've just purchased my first Patrol, it runs petrol n gas but won't run on gas, stalls out while driving and at low revs, any ideas would me much appreciated

Take it to a LPG Specialist

Don't mean to be abrupt but LPG is a beast that needs expert attention.

I have a 4.5 on Dual Fuel which runs great on LPG

Make sure its not dual fuelling as in both petrol/gas together.
You need your electrics to be 100% when running gas, can I
suggest before you take it some where for a tune, fit new leads
and minimum a new air filter. once tuned you will have it running
optimum on gas, petrol may be lacking as its difficult to tune both.
when you switch over to gas have you run all the fuel out of the carby first.??
