I've read a lot of people complaining about how Tapa doesn't show NEW posts any more... This is across several different forums. Some people here recently mentioned it toon this forum so I thought I'd show how it's done. Most already probably know this, but It may help some people.
Tapa had simply disabled the timeline tab by Default at some stage ... I haven't used Tapa for a while so, I am assuming during one update they changed this.

So here if you select the forum you want to view....

And then open the menu on the top right corner ( 3 vertial dots ). And then select Customize ....

And then on on this page you can choose which Tabs you want tapa to show for that forum. Timeline one was disabled by default. The timeline view is the same view as if you were to click on "Whats new" on the forum in a proper browser, on PC etc...
You can also drag each of those tabs by the 3 horizontal lines no the left and drag them up and down to choose in which order they are displayed in the main tab page.

Does this make it jump to the actual last unread post when you open a thread?

Negative. What I described it just for showing threads in a Timeline.
By default, selecting a thread doesn't take you to first unread post. It simply takes you to very first post.
Unless you manually select it ... So the menu to the right of each thread. Open it and select jump to first unread. That's how I do it.

Has everyone finding these issues got the " read order" selected correctly?

I have mine set to first unread, but it will always take me back to old posts that I have read weeks ago.

I've always had the latest post selected and at on stage it was taking me to first post but seems all good now. I'm a bit of a lazy reader and only read two or three last posts...LOL

Agreed. Tapa sucks a$$, but it's not a matter of choice, it's a lack of options out there at the moment when mobile ......

Ive never experienced forum skinner. :)
The only issue ive had for tappa is it will occasionally crash when trying to upload a pic.
The timeline button i always just refresh by dragging down on the screen. Works fine for me. Or have i missed the point here....

Yeah my point was that when mobile i just choose the classic view same as pc. Never had a problem but uploading pics isnt possible that way.
