What does this switch do

I have two questions (as my new vehicle did not come with the manual)
1- What does this switch do
2- How does it do it (what does it mechanically/electrically) do ?

It locks out first gear in the transmission... So when you take off from a standing start you take off in 2nd gear to help with traction.

Is the ejector seat Alleviate/Terminate button

Wow that's different. My old LC 100 series did what Softy said, started off in 2nd

Its different but it works pretty well in sand. Cant vouch for snow cos we dont get that stuff in WA.
