GQ patrol stupid axle questions

rear doing the rear wheel bearings, did not pay attention to which side the short axle goes to. Any help would be great.

No stupid questions mate, I always thought the rears were the same length..... so maybe mines could be deemed a stupid answer

Sorry forgot to mention 1988 Safari Wagon, Coil sprung. and I am pretty sure the longest axle is the passangers.

hmmm i thought they were the same length too. How much longer is one over the other?

nothing drastic maybe 20-30mm. luckly the seals where really bad on one side and the axle is still dirty so I am going to try that.
