Hey Everyone. I'm about to pick up a GQ TD42 and am wondering which type of oil to run in it? I am leaning more towards Penrite because I have friends running it with no problems and have read many good reviews. Would 15w40 be OK? Also, could someone give me the low down on mineral oils? Are they OK to run in the TD42 or not? Many resources on the internet claim increased wear on the engine. Thanks everyone.

15w-40 is the most common diesel oil.

Always use the best oil you can afford.
