Pretty sure they don't line up mate but there's an adaptor kit from Marks 4wd but hefty $$$

nah seriously,a mate was asking and i just so happen to know where there is one,blown up 2.8 and my friend has a maverick 4.2 thats nice...but old and rusty.looking for a transplant vehicle.....

Hey mate. I have done this conversion and yes, the mounts are different. We cut them out of the doner car and welded them into my wagon. Wasn't that hard just have to make sure you take measurements off the doner car before cutting them out! Seems obvious but i have heard stories. Good luck to your mate. Best thing I ever did!

I've done this conversion and yes the drivers side mount needs to be moved / adapted forward by about 15-25mm. Pays to measure it up. I cut off the RD mount and bought a brand new genuine nissan td42t mount from nissbits. Had that professionally welded on (better than the factory welding). Others simply make up a steel plate adapter and leave the RD28 mount in place.
Passenger side needs no modification.
