Hi peeps. I've just bought a 90 GQ TB42 wagon on gas. Ive had Hilux's and Pajero's in the past so I've had my fair share of offroad fun. Found the hilux was a bit underpowered with my camper so the extra torque will help I'm sure. Already had a case of the "wobbles" in the front end in the test drive, so its off to the suspension joint to get that sorted before I collect it on Saturday.

Anyhow will be nice to speak with you and I'll have loads of questions to ask.

Got my 90 GQ last Saturday. Had a few good runs around the place to get a feel for it. Still has a very mild shimmy at around 80k thats gone by 90k. Smooth on the highway, but tyres are noisy. Seems thirsty. Ill check the mileage properly but it doesn't look good. (Seems to be the ever present smell of gas possibly from the exhaust.) Idle seems a bit low as well when air con is on. At time beneath 600rpm. Love the growl when you get under it and love how it crawls at 1000rpm through round abouts and in traffic. All round quite happy :)
