I am stepping out of a 2008 ranger to a 2004 zd30 st-s. Been 4wding for 2yrs. Local tracks are Pyrenees and Mt Cole.

Welcome mate. There'd be a big power loss hit coming from a Ranger to the Patrol. But the Ranger has nothing on the Patrol out on the tracks.

I think the ability to flex will out whey the power loss. Most of our driving is about technical slow speed climbing and descents.
