Hi!
My name is Lloyd, born on the 7th of November 1999, just turned 17 and have got myself a 1997 ST gq with a screwd RD28 in and am starting to convert it to TD42 turbo.

I have used this forum for years when helping mates (who all love GQ's and TD42 turboed), and when doing up a 1988 Ford Maverick with my brother - this finished as an insane 4wd (see pix), we spent a lot of time and money on it but unfortunately we sold it 6 months ago because we have to travel 1.5hrs to the coast and all its mods made it drive not too well.

Its mods that I can remember were; Turbo, Intercooler, 3inch flexi coil lift (6 inch shocks so dropped out and flexed crazy!!), 2inch body lift, roof rack, awning, drawers, dual battery, winch, castor correction, etc etc etc...

Anyway I decided to finally create a personal account on here as I am now starting a personal project with my RD28 to TD42 Conversion, and what i imagine to be a continous build of my patrol. See some pix of it attached, it is literally rock stock grandpa style atm ..... think i have found myself a clean canvas to begin with and to be a keeper! :D - oops now ive gone to upload pix i realise a havent taken any since i bought it.... anyway not much has changed, just have cleaned it up and just got it over the pits today!... thought would be easier to rego now then just will be engine swap paperwork when thats done.
