GU Electric Aerial

Hi Guys,
Have a 03 GU 4.2td with the aerial only going to full mast when the radio is turned on.
When I toggle the switch from half to full then back to half the aerial retracts.
No half way.
Any ideas

Possibly the aerial is an aftermarket one so either it goes all the way up or all the way down and thats it.
The switch i doubt would have anything to do with it as there is no relay on the back of it.

Hey mate.The car is a one owner, so I know it's an original aerial. Was working ok with switch
