GQ Power Steering Fluid

Hey Guys,
I've just noticed in the Haynes manual that I'm suppose to use Dexron II ATF in the power steering system.
I've been using Dex III for years to top it up(rarely though, 'cos it doesn't leak much).
Have I been stuffing it up by using Dex III??!!
There's a very small leak in the steering box, apparently from the seal(s).
It's negligible atm, 'cos it only need a quick wash once every six months or so.

Wouldnt stress to much. But always use the best oil you can afford.

Yeah, but I think they are pretty much the same price. It's just the oil grade I was bit worried about. :)
