I've got a Series 1 TB45 GU, the drivers side drag link ball joint is worn and needs replacing. Are the ball joints the same part as the tie rod ends?

I expect that they are. You will need to get the correct Thea's direction though. Left or right?

I would stick with genuine though so hit up Patrolapart.

Drag link end is different to the tie rod ends...

Must be different on the TB45, on my ZD30 patrol the drag link ends are not replaceable, you have to change the whole thing.

Yeah they must be Pauly. Never crawled under to look to be honest but i just pulled up a vin from a 98 TB GU, chucked in it my parts program and it showed the drag link end at the steering box was replacable.

That is interesting Mark, I wonder why Nissan would make them different? I just replaced mine and you definitely can't change the ends.
