2011 gu manual gearbox

Hi all ,

I have just purchased our 1st patrol , the gearbox is a bit grindy between 3rd to 4th gear change , i am assuming the oil needs replacing , what do use recomend in the way of synthetic oils & an addative. price is irrelevant

Is it worse cold or the same?.
How may K's on the clock?.

Yep good synthetic oil is the go, where your located may determine what brand oils are available.
put additive in pat 2 days ago.
can recommend nulon additive, recon it makes a difference to gear changes.
noticed it also seemed a "little" quieter.
have used nulon manual trans additive a couple of times before in other cars improved them also.
