Today i bought some front wheel bearings for the patrol. (1998 G.U. station wagon) Kit came with two seals, but the online manual image has only one as far as i can see. can anyone clarify please??

You might have got the axel seals as well small seal about 30 mm diameter

No, the big one is about 88 mm and the other one is about 71mm.

+1 for the guide linked in the post above.
I just did my front bearings and it is a great guide.
There is definitely 2 big grease seals. 1 goes on the back of the disc rotor ( I think that's the larger one), and the other goes on the kuckle spindle. It will be more obvious when you pull it all apart.

Thanks everybody. After reading the rebuild thread it looks much clearer. I now feel fairly confident to do my bearings, thanks again.
