My Nissan Patrol Y61 28TD has problem difficult to turn on the engine when heat up or after running.
The engine cool down or over night, it is easy to turn on like normal but it that time to warming up otherwise you can't run at all.

Hi Julius,

Here is the fix for your hot start issue..... from another web page

this problem is reasonably common and can be easily and cheaply rectified. On the bottom of the fuel pump you will find a plate that needs replacing. When the pump gets a bit of age onto it, it wears a slight groove in the sleeve where the advance mechanism is on the lower section of the fuel pump which decrease fuel pump pressure. The pump needs to build up pressure again before it will inject fuel (therefore requires cranking for a little while to build up pressure).

It needs a new timing cover which has a 5mm step in it to push the advance piston through and past the wear point of the sleeve, thus sealing it again and problem sorted.
Here are the part numbers for the parts. Nissan part numbers of course.

what size tyre did you fit?????
a picture is worth a 1000 words, so maybe post a picture

rough guess, the rim is the wrong one for that tyre....... the off set (from centre of rim to outside edge) needs to be the right one for your tyre & Patrol

I think you need a different off set on your rim
