ZD30 Exhaust studs

Hi Guys

I am just putting all the accessories back onto a reconditioned ZD30 before it goes back in my 2002 Patrol and was wondering if I need to change the studs on the exhaust outlet for the manifold. Someone suggested putting in new ones but my old ones are not rusty and in good condition. Should I just replace them with new ones?

Hey mate when we did roofys motor we chucked new ones on. Probably could get away with old ones but i would chuck new ones on if it we're me may as well as is apart and everything else is new i reckon. Remember the inlet manifold had us stumped for a while as they're a combination of studs and bolts, we assumed they were all studs and were looking everywhere for them!

would be Best to re new the suds heatstess may have weakened them
could even snap when you tension them
