I have an Autron LCD temperature gauge installed that is about 4 years old. I need a temperature sender for it.

I know Redarc bought Autron's line of gauges off them a few years ago. I have contacted them and found out that Autron seem to have changed the sender, the wiring and the program in the gauge. The original sender is a single wire and the newer version is 2 wire.

I have searched numerous manufacturers data charts of resistance vs temperature values and nothing comes close to what I have measured with a VDO gauge potentiometer.

The readings I have come up with is as follows:

120°C 60 ohm
110°C 80 ohm
100°C 110 ohm
90°C 165 ohm
80°C 250 ohm
75°C 300 ohm
60°C 450 ohm
50°C 600 ohm
45°C 750 ohm

Just wondering if by any chance anyone has any ideas on what I can do. I really want my temperature gauge working again.

2 wire senders are so they don't have any issues with earth loops, induced voltages, bonding resistances etc.
Given you have the single wire instrument, earthing one side of the 2 wire sender may work but no guarantee.

I brought a universal sender for my digital water temp gauge
If thats even possible ,
