I am a long term Nissan Patrol owner based in Perth, and we have had 4WD's since the 1980's. Our present vehicle which we have owned now for some 20 years is a '92 GQ (TB42E) in excellent condition that has been well developed as a very capable tourer. We belong to the Western Patrol Club, and actively participate in club activities when available.

It is hard to go past the Patrol as a great 4WD platform, and we have undertaken some great trips in this vehicle. We recently did an extensive trip across the centre of WA to Uluru before heading down to the Flinders and then back to Perth.
