FYI around those spinifex rings you can find the resin the Aboriginal ppl used
to melt and fix spear head etc

Great looking trip gives you itchy feet thats for sure.

Been a lot of traffic since your time mate
think we passed about 5 in 2 weeks
none down the Geo track only 4 camels

It took us 11 days to get from Mt Dare to Birdsville and we only saw one group of two cars the whole time.
Plenty of camels and several dingo's.
