Chasing a screw thingo that you screw in 2 hold the adjustable pole for a camping trailer that the canvas is attached 2.
Anyone know what the proper name is for them or where I could obtain one?

Its not a thumb screw wheel youre thinking of.

Think maybe he means the screw next to the adjustable section on the right

Same thing most are 6mm or 1/4" used them on a few products over the years
The thumb wheel goes into a captive nut welded to the post

The thumb wheel goes into a captive nut welded to the post
The captive nut is not welded 2 the post in my camping trailer

No not if it's a complete frame.

can you super glue the nut part inside the pole,,,less chance of losing it

No chance of loosing it unless you take the pole completely out for some strange reason.
