I'm lucky enough to have both my father and father in law around.
Dad's birthday is today 81 and the in laws was last week 75.
Has been a good weekend.

My Dad’s 85 this year & lives about 17,000kms away. This photo was taken about 5 years ago after we re-entered each other’s lives following a 35+ year gap.

The kids took me to Bindoon Bakery for Fathers day. Gifts of Chocolate, hemp rub, a breaking bad figurine and bottle of Bundy. Must have looked good to those looking on.

I'm very happy for you. Cherish your time together. My old man shot through on us when I was about 5, leaving my mother and two sons, and although I made an effort to find him and make contact, he never kept in contact with me. I only hope that I did all the right things raising my son.

I envy your relationship with your dad and those who stay close. It's an effort to keep and family close but, from my experience, well worth it.

Being adopted I never found my Paternal father, but did find my birth Mum
back in '91 a few tears there thats for sure. All I know is his name is Reg
and he lives down near Beacc down Colac way, He may well be live still
but I hold no hope of finding him. I have a half brother and sister so
the family grew a tad, ha ha ha
