Hi all, I'm looking at anti grenading my 07 3.0l patrol but I'm not too sure whats involved besides blocking the EGR pipe. Any advice would be much appreciated.

CRD engine?

First and most important purchase is a Scan gauge or equivalent.

If it is a CRD they don't grenade in the traditional sense any more or less than any other vehicle.
You are more likely to have oil pump issues in the '07, coolant leaks or warped exhaust manifold.

Blocking the EGR will cause boost issues and/or CIL and codes so you need to adjust the Turbo or fit manual boost control such as Dawes or Tillix valves.
