Hi guys!
Oil in my steering system smells burnt, so I need to change it.
I know only one method – pump out the old oil from the steering tank, fill the steering tank with new oil, start the engine, 2000 rpm, and 5-6 times completely turn the wheels from one side to another. Repeat all operations 5-6 times.
I did it last year, but after 10 000 km it begin to smells bad again. May be, there are exist any better method?

PS. Sorry if in the wrong thread.

Another way..
Imo a 2 person job this one..

take off the oil return hose which is the low pressure hose and block it from the tank then extend the hose that you just took off and put that end into a empty 5lt container and start the engine but make sure that you keep pouring clean oil into the resivour until it comes out of the the return hose as clean oil
