They are gone mate. Keep your old hoes if they have any life in them as spares. I carry old hoses stashed in the rear quarter panel behind the trim. Fan belt and air on belt goes in there too!

X 2 swap them over to silicon and use to old as spares.

Who would be a good supplier or manufacturer of the silicone hoses, I've heard nasty things about some of them. Having those spares can really save your bacon. Also some tubes of epoxy helps to fix cruisers with cracked radiators. ;)

Personally I'd use branded rubber over the cheap silicone hose sold these days. Besides you can't just use your old worm drive hose clamps on silicone, it will chew through the silicone the first time you tighten them up. You need to buy lined clamps so theres no perforation in the clamp to rip the hose. Gates brand hoses are my pick.

Speaking of hoses and Gates. I just found this http://www.gates.com/catalogs-and-resources/resources/repository/videos/gates-powergrip-sb-clamps-and-blue-stripe-coolant-hose . Meant to be getting an early night so I can do a coolant flush and transmission flush but I can't help but researching. Now I'm wondering if I too should have been replacing my hoses but they look pretty good at the moment.
