LS3 Conversion

Has anyone completed an LS3 conversion into a GU? If so, what is the fuel economy like?

A mate of mine did it with his 2001 GU. With 37's on it went like shite off a chrome shovel too. I think his fuel eco wasn't much higher than the 3ltr he pulled out. I can't remember exactly what his figures were now. High 16's rings a bell. It was early last year. Then sold the thing for 40k after showing it off on FB!
