My steering wheel in my gq moves about 3-5 mm towards me every time I touch it, saas after market steering wheel, very annoying while driving , the entire steering shaft moves right up to the flex joint, just wondering if anyone knows y it's doing this and a way to fix?? I've played around with the flex joint but can't seem to fix, I don't wanna pull the whole steering shaft out if it can be avoided

Thats all I can think of too. The boss isn't sitting down enough onto the column.
Or where the steering shaft comes up and out of the column, to the steering wheel, there should be two washers and a circlip holding the shaft in the column. The circlip, and /or washers might be missing.

Thanks, I got it sorted out now behind the indicator and head light lever there was a bearing and a nut, that nut was loose, I tightened that back up and it all good now
