A mate I met on a 4x4 forum many years ago lives in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.

His son is studying at an Aussie Uni in Malaysia that is sending him to Melbourne for a semester and he is in need of accommodation from 23/07/2016 for 4 months.

He is studying at Swinburne Uni's Hawthorne Campus, so near there would be ideal.

Can anyone help out of give a lead to someone who might?

Cheers Macca

Cheers Macca My little cottage is full to the brim but I've been to Kota Kinabalu before and the from my experience the people I met were awesome!

I don't just mean the hotel staff, I met a lot of locals and they were honest and good people to be with!

If all else fails try gumtree Macca. That was the original purpose of Gumtree before it became EBay.

Air BnB? He might find a house that needs sitting while the owners are away...
