hey guys currently rebuilding my 89 gq have resprayed the grill and head light surround black as the same with the whole car. it use to be black over silver.
are there chrome grills around that aren't too expensive? also wanting ideas on the PATROL badge was going to stay stock white althoe I think it would look better as maybe a silver or gold? thoughts?

Looks good mate!

I have the chrome grille on my GQ and they look great.

Patrolapart sell them and they aren't too expensive. I can't remember exact price $100-200 I think.

I'm a fan of black and white together. I reckon that badge might look good if the rest of the trol is black

At least on the old MQ & GQ grill you could remove (if you were so inclined) the nissan badge for improve air flow .
well the ford maverick badge comes off so assume nissan GQ is the same clip on/off design.

I like the badge also , but "any extra" frontal accessories do block the cooling path off.
I can live with out a badge if it means, better cooling and or extending engine life.
Its a balance thingy, just pointing it out.

Mudveins I have some burn marks from jumper leads on my grill [previous owner]
Just wondering could I fill it with a glue gun and then file and sand smooth?????
