Hi All,
Just checked my Intercooler in a radiator shop and found leaking despite the dealer said it was a hose clamp loose issue. So informed dealer and hopefully will get replaced under warranty.

I believe it is advisable to fit aftermarket. I am after one which fits with minimal modification and reasonable quality.

What are my choices?

You have a few choices mate. Cross country, HPD, ARE, etc...

On my CRD I had a diesel smart unit. It was around $450, exchange, and took me 5 minutes to fit up. Like for like replacement.
It improved the EGT's greatly and was a quality intercooler.

I have a Di but I also chose a Diesel Smart fully tigged and pressure tested Intercooler.
IMHO its not worth buy a CC IC for a CRD as the bang for buck is just not there.
Ask the dealer to get a fully tig and tested one or they will be replacing it again
down the track,,,,lol
I think the DS ICs are about 33% bigger, similar to the A.R.E ones
A larger scoop will further improve your EGTs
