Any gardening / lawn experts able to help me out identifying this pest. During recent rains, it's just began conquering our lawn. Had a quick look at common weeds, sites etc and didn't succeed in finding it. When you grab a handful it's very thick, and comes out as a large patch (stuck together).

Wondering if I should just attack it with weed 'n feed and see what happens ?

You can see a large bright colored patch to the right of the trampoline.

If it's what I think it is...

My wife calls it Radium, it is a natural remedy for sun spots etc on our skin.

It has a milky sap when broken off, that is applied to sun spots, scaly skin, warts and so on. They dry up and disappear.

It does work, but not on everything.

It is a real pest in the garden and hard to get rid of.

I'm the best weed cultivator in Oz... only gotta look out the window and the lawn dies and weeds grow 12 inches

Anyhoooooow... Looks like it could be one of the Oxalis family.

If it is or it isn't, shouldn't matter 'cause looking at the pics any of the broadleaf treatments should knock it arse over tit.

edit... found a pic of an Oxalis that looks like your stuff http://turfpro.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/info_oxalis2.jpg

Looks like chick weed. Weed n feed or similar should work if not add some brush off to the mix to help.

Agree with Rossco, looks like Chickweed to me.
I get it in my lawn and use a selective broadleaf weed killer to get rid of it.

Thank you all!
After ET pointed it out, to me the closest I could find is a creeping oxalis... But mine is a much thicker version of it.
I'll hit it some broadleaf treatment see how it goes.

Try Kamba M. It is a good broad leaf weed killer

Try getting a double G or Calthrop prickle in your foot. Worse that walking on plastic blocks, half asleep, in the middle of the night. PML
