how much is it worth

Hey Guys,
ok, just looking for thoughts here, I have an option to purchase this 4/99 GU ST Turbo ute I am driving at the moment. It has been lifted a little, Koni shocks, new tires, winch, bar, dual batteries, new injector pump, water cooled intercooler, rear ladder rack and torneu cover on alloy tray. It drives well, doesnt blow smoke or use oil, good economy, no oil leaks, air works etc etc, all up a pretty nice car!. The thing that I'm a little put off by is its done 390Klm. and I dont know the history before about three years ago.

What is it worth????

As long as the car has been properly maintained there will be plenty of life left in it. They're a tough old truck.

keep it serviced regularlly and it should be fine i done 580,000kms + and still going strong and just about all of them kms was with a trailer on so shes been worked hard all her life and thats pet / gas diesel last a lot longer in kms than pet so what u reckon

My td42 has done well in excess of 520,000 dont know exactly how much odo is stuffed has it got a service history with it, regular servicing and she'll go for a hell of a long time yet I dont know what theyre worth tho google red book for $value though most people think theyre cars worth more

Mate, It's a GU Coil Cab TD42T! 390k is not that bad at all mate. I put a Turbo on my GQ TD42 at 350k without blinking. Tough as guts. That's why people are chasing them.

If you have driven it for the last 3 years then you know the car mate, you know the economy figures and you know the current service history at least.

You have not suggested the price they are asking but well into the high 20's would not be out of the question. You could drive this for the next 5 years and still get 85% of the price at least. Very highly sort after.

This has got a NEW Injector pump, Nice.

Its got a Water to Air Intercooler, Outstanding! what brand?

Koni shocks are top rated.

This looks like a great buy if its under 30k. otherwise tell him he's dreaming i reckon. It's a '99.
