I was watching 10 thing you don't know about a patrol on you tube, and it mentioned about removing a Grommet on the bell housing to drain out water. I noticed that I do not have this grommet on my bell housing, should there be a grommet on this drainage hole, or should it be left open.

I think it is supposed to be sealed, but mine is missing the grommet. Any idea where to get one?

I made one out of some silicone that was left in the nozzle in the gun. Too easy.

I think I might try the silicon trick as well. What happens if water gets into the bell housing

If you use the bung definitely worth taking out and checking for water contamination after deep water/mud crossings.
