Hey guys,, time for me to find a new mechanic...
the last guy normally did a nice job but the young lads that do the work for him didnt tighten the sump plug..
lucky i noticed oil dripping from it before it fell out.. when i checked the plug, it literally came off in my hand... :frown:

so time for a new one..

so does anyone know a mechanic in the Perth area?

i even thought about going to Nissan... that passed quick..lol

cheers

Whatever reply you get here please tell the owner(s) of that though.

Our old mechanic took on young apprentices when he got too busy/tired and similar issues.

Move on but let the owner know mate...

We had that happen to the night shift manager, he's a wanker so we didn't tell him. He drove it for about a week before he realized, spewing we were waiting for him to say that something happen to his car.

Nah, it still had oil. We saw a largish patch under his car. Every time he parked in a different spot it left a patch. I think it was only done up finger tight.

the one time i wasn't on the farm last year the boss did the service on a machine...the next day the bloke operating it stop the thing because it was making a funny noise.....he forgot to do the sump plug up and it fell out ...sometimes even the bosses stuff up...like others said,he needs to know and you should tell him...as for nissan service, since i bought the Gu it has had every one done at nissan here in Manjimup WA....can't fault them,if they can claim something they find under warrenty they do it for me..So far only belt and tensioner,in 2 yrs i have had it..yeah it cost me but i am happy with them

Apparently people have no complaints about "Emerald Tyre and Mechanical Centre". My previous owner went to them and mate has their car serviced there too.
