Hi to everyone, great forum and tons of info. Look forward to chatting.
Got to confess I have a foot in both camps with a 200 series and an early GU coily in the shed. ( Don't hold that against me) Only just brought the GU and already experiencing the joys of the oh to familiar death wobbles. But behold there are plenty of solutions and advise here. Tremendous truck all the same.
cheers

G'day Sam

Welcome aboard and glad you could join us. Hold your head up high owning a GU coily. lol.

Love my DX GU cab chassis to bits. It's not a poverty pack. It's a lean, mean machine that doesn't break down electrically - much, doesn't have a dashboard dimmer switch or airbags, and has vinyl floors - a hose in, hose out job. lol.

If you want motivation, check out my thread by clicking onto the link below.

Where you from?

Take care out there.

Thanks for the welcome . In answer to your question Rosco, i live near Collie in the south west.
I love the 200 for touring and towing, but like you I like the fact that their are no electronics on the gu. It's simple, capable in the bush, doesn't care if it gets scratched and I can fix it. Just came back from a run out to the goldfields and was happy with the truck. Just got to sort out a couple of things and will be happy as Larny
Cheers
