I brought my 97 2.8td gq a couple of months ago and i love it.

Done a few upgrades but a heap more to go, not very mechanically minded so hope you dont mind a few questions here and there.

I live in Melbourne, I have a 97 rx gq. Work in progress, 2" lift, 33" muddies, roof rack and uhf atm.

Projects to come: 165 litre long range tank, 3" straight pipe from turbo back, intercooler, customized roof rack with rollers for a roof topper, rear bar with duel jerry cans, outboard mount and spare wheel carrier, rocksliders, brush bars and bullbar and a few others.

So ill have lots of questions to come.
